“In Search of the Missing Wizard” is a book of fantasy illustrations that inspires the reader to write their OWN story with the help of  written prompts.

The illustrations depict dragons, magical potions, portals to other places and time, air ships and sailing ships, a wizard’s laboratory, underwater and underground cities, mermaids, orbs, tree houses, castles and more!

Appeals to those who are interested in the worlds of magic, fantasy and myth; suitable for aspiring writers of any age.  Could be used as a a group story writing project for preschoolers to grade 3; as a creative writing assignment for grades 4 to 8;  teens and adults could write a story for younger children. Teachers could write a story for their students.

About the Creators

Artist:  Michael Price is a retired geologist and engineer; a musician, artist and writer. He has always been drawn to the world of magic; the casting of spells and how they interact with science. Reflected in his artwork is his fascination with myths and legends about dragons, wizardry and time/space travel.

Authors:  Myranda O’Byrne is a retired music and drama school teacher, musician, composer and writer. Her music compositions depict her fascination with magic and the Otherworld. She and Michael Price have been married for over 3 decades and strive to collaborate harmoniously on projects of common interest.

Tracy Beckett is an Early Childhood Educator, an artist, a musician and a poet. When Tracy isn’t busy teaching preschool, you can find her creating her eco-adventure felt story-boards for children.
