I was born in England, way, way back in the last century, astrologically on the cusp of Virgo and Leo, in a house on the fringe of a tiny village that no-one’s ever heard of, mere yards from the border between Cheshire and Staffordshire and thus between “The North” and “The Midlands”, of mixed English, Welsh and Romany ancestry. Consequently, I’ve been thoroughly confused all my life, always unsure of who and what I am, and what I must do.

I’ve been a mechanical engineer, a geologist, an oceanographer, the manager of a woodworking shop, a sailing instructor, a musician, an artist, a writer, a security guard, and, for two insane weeks, a hypnotist’s assistant. All my life I’ve been fascinated by magic, myths and legends, wizardcraft, time and space travel, and how this all relates to science and the mundane world, and I’ve tried to express some of this in my artwork. It’s up to you to decide how successful I’ve been!
